GCHS News Update

Hello, everyone. This evening marks the official end of summer and the beginning of fall. It’s a sad reality check, but for those of us in Greenstone, we’ve been seeing the leaves change colour over the past week so we all knew it was inevitable. As temperatures outside cool off, the atmosphere in GCHS is warming up.

The GCHS Knights are making a return to the links as our golf team heads to the Manitouwadge Golf Course next week for the NSSSAA tournament. Their coach Mr. Griffin will be joining students.

Volleyball and Basketball practices are also being held in the gym at various times throughout the week. Mr. Carr and Mr. McFarlane are hoping for a strong contingent of players. If you’re interested in participating, please see these coaches for more information.

Student Services Update: Student timetables should be finalized at this point. Students who need to discuss issues involving courses should first speak with their teacher and then book an appointment with Student Services and Mrs. Humphreys.

Potential Grads: June will creep up before you know it. Please see Mrs. Humphreys to make arrangements to pay grad fees. A number of presentations, (see list below and listen to announcements for updates) are scheduled for potential graduates.

As always, have a wonderful day!
