Staff and students of Geraldton Composite High School are looking forward to the end of June, but before then there are some important things that need to be completed. First and foremost, this includes the completion of course work. It is important for students to communicate with their teachers regarding any outstanding assignments. In some cases, classes are also completing course culminating assignments. As such, organization and time management are also keys to success. Exams begin on Monday, June 22 and a schedule will be posted soon.
Some Upcoming Dates:
Potential Grad Meeting: Thursday, June 4 at 11:30am – Room 28
We will go over any outstanding items as well as discuss the grad rehearsal. If you have not completed your yellow cue card for the ceremony, please see Mrs. Humphreys. We also need guest numbers.
GCHS Prom: Friday, June 5 at 7:30PM – Gym
Tickets and information are on posters throughout the school. Come dance to the beat of DJ Haslam, be amazed by the fountain, and spend some time with friends. Song request forms, guest sign-up, and nominations for King/Queen and Prince/Princess are located in the front office.
Professional Development Day – No School: Monday, June 8
Students have no school today. Staff will be participating in a variety of professional development initiatives.
Commencement Ceremony Rehearsal: Thursday, June 11 at 1PM – Gym
Listen for announcements as the time is not finalized. This is an important rehearsal so that grads know where to go during the actual ceremony.
